The Narrows Escape is the ultimate rainforest cottage retreat offering the pampered guest peace, seclusion, romance, and is located near the charming village of Montville in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland just 90 minutes north of Brisbane and 30 minutes from golden beaches.
Each secluded cottage is a haven of luxury and tranquillity, allowing you to unwind and be at one with nature. After a soothing massage and spa bath, dine with your special someone in front of your own log fire with a delicious gourmet hamper.
Or perhaps surprise your partner with your culinary expertise in the well-appointed kitchen and open a bottle of your favourite wine, sit back and enjoy one of the vast selection of DVD movies or CDs on offer.
In summer, the saltwater pool with its own waterfall is the ideal place to take that much needed time-out.
Alternatively you can choose to relax in a hammock on the spacious verandah of your cottage and take in the sounds of the freshwater stream tumbling over ancient rocks and the chorus of birdsong from the rainforest.

Narrows Escape Cottages

All the cottages have large comfortable beds with adjacent bathrooms. Bedside illumination is provided via stained glass lampshades which provide rich, soft lighting to complement any mood.
The bedroom windows offer a view of the immediate rainforest and you may well find the forest creatures are as interested in you as you are in them.
All cottages are designed for couples, although a fold out bed is available for one extra person if required. The retreat is an adults only venue.

Every little detail has been taken care of to ensure that your stay in these cosy cottages is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

The breakfast hampers include such beautiful things as locally grown fruit, home made jams and Narrow Escape's own free range eggs. Freshly baked croissants are delivered to your cottage every morning.
Winter or summer dressing gowns are provided in your cottage as well as log fires, spa baths, flowers, chocolates, hammocks and BBQ's.
A welcome platter is placed in the fridge for your arrival if you stay for two days or more, and a myriad of little things are provided in the cottage to make your stay a memorable one.
