Each cottage has queen size bedding, a sofa for two, a double spa in the ensuite, wood fireplace, TV, CD and DVD player.

A sliding glass door leads to the veranda with both rural countryside vista and pungent garden aromas.

The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, electric fry pan, toaster, jug, crockery and cutlery for your convenience during your stay.

Air conditioning is available in two of the four cottages to make your stay comfortable during the warmer days of the year or you can use the ceiling fans.

Fluffy bathrobes, toiletries, ground coffee, homemade cookies, complimentary port and daily servicing is included.

In the evening settle with a glass of wine and the uninterrupted attention of the one you love.

Nestled amongst carefully tendered gardens and clean mountain air, Toorak cottage oozes elegance and ambiance of years gone by.

On weekends a delicious gourmet breakfast is served to you while you soak up the sun and birdsong on the veranda of your cottage. Midweek a continental breakfast hamper is supplied the evening before so your "sleep-in" will not be disturbed.

WALKS AND NATURE ATTRACTIONS

Mary Cairncross Park - Maleny: This Scenic Reserve gives shelter to many species of wildlife - an indication of the amazing range of native fauna which lived in the rain forests of the Blackall Range before the sounds of the settlers' axes mingled with the call of the whip birds.

The Great Walk: The great walk is located within the Blackall Range. The walk traverses some of the more scenic and spectacular natural areas of the range. The walk offers a diverse range of walking experiences from short day walks to 3-4 day walks with overnight stops.

Kondalilla National Park & Falls: Just 2klms north of the village of Montville is Kondalilla NP. First protected in 1906, the 327 hectare park derives its name from an Aboriginal word meaning rushing waters. The walks start in the picnic area west of the car park. Picnic Creek is a short 400m stroll from the picnic area.

Baroon Pocket Dam: This 380 hectare lake was completed in 1989 and is the main water supply for Caloundra and Maroochydore. Swimming, fishing, sailing and canoeing are all allowed on the lake.

Glasshouse Mountains: The volcanic peaks of the Glass House Mountains rise dramatically from the surrounding Sunshine Coast landscape. The Glass House Mountains were named by Lieutenant Captain James Cook in 1770.

ART, CRAFT, ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS

The Tree Frog Gallery: exhibits and sells Australian indigenous art, contemporary paintings, sculpture, landscapes, ceramics, jewellery, furniture and craft from the scenic Blackall Range on the Sunshine Coast. The Tree Frog Gallery abounds in art to collect and enjoy.

Maleny Film Society: The MFS unique combination of fine film, wining and dining in a local village hall atmosphere is a proven concept enthusiastically enjoyed by locals and many "Out-of-Towners".
 

The Bold in Gold Fine Art Gallery: is a showcase for some of the region's most outstanding artists. The work on display is very diverse and includes an eclectic selection of wildlife and landscape paintings as well as pottery, 3D wall pieces and wildlife sculptures. Whether you're an investor or simply buy for pleasure, you will find this gallery most rewarding.

Art on Cairncross: Combines the two galleries of its owners Jane Caraffi of Caraffi's established in 1998 and Tony Gill of Tony Gill Galleries of Montville which was established in 1995. The new gallery continues to be visited by art lovers from all over Australia and the world because of the calibre of fine art displayed including ceramics, glass and sculpture.
